Terewais healthy meat patty burger and wedges
Hi all!. This is my version of what I have been staying away from since the start of Wehi.
My meat patty is beef mince with chopped onions. italian herbs, mustard. a pinch of salt and pepper. dipped into two beaten eggs and and lastly rolled in bread crumbs and placed in to a non stick grill.
the fillings all met the portions of veges. and meat with cheese and egg for dairy protein.
My wedges are shop bought with paprika and poulty spice and salt sprinkled over them and simply baked in the oven!
Very filling and 1kg of mince made 6 pattys so all the whanau had one!.

Great. Looks like a healthy meal to have and you know what's in it. Just a question around the wedges - it's fine to buy frozen foods but make sure they're not hiding nasties like High Fructose Corn Syrup. Wedges are sometimes "reconstituted" which means the food company mashes up potato and mixes it with flour and other chemicals.
