I have been really enjoying the  healthy kai this past few weeks and have been trying to not snack out in between main meals.  I don't know about the rest of you but since trying to cut the sugar out - sugar cravings have amplified but I did not want to blow out so have 2 pieces of 70% dark choc as a small treat today - and it did the trick. Noticing sugar crave is getting less and less each day but I have to recognise that.   It means I don't meet todays daily challenge for sugar free day but Im really glad to have thought about not reaching for a quick big unhealthy food fix to satisfy the cravings.

I have noticed that planning and prep of meals is definately working out so as to avoid  eating  on the run and choosing unhealthy food options,  and will try to keep this good food habit going if wanting to succeed.

Thanks Trace for sharing that. Addiction to chocolate is a big challenge for me. I'm managing to not eat chocolate some days - I made myself a healthy alternative. Finding a healthy alternative rather than going cold turkey so to speak seems to be working for me. My no-added-sugar bakes help me not eat chocolate on the weekends. Chocolate is not just about the sugar - there's caffeine in there and cocoa butter (fat). I had to increase to a double strength tea bag to compensate for the loss of caffeine (caffeine withdrawals give you a sharp headache in behind your forehead). I'll try to find a recipe for a chocolate replacement that doesn't have added sugar - could be a challenge.
    Awesome!
